VitroGro ECM – MoA Animation

The skin is the body’s largest organ. The outer epidermis forms an elastic, protective layer.

The middle layer – the dermis - contains sweat glands, hair follicles and sebaceous glands. The lower subcutaneous layer consists of connective tissue and fat. This arrangement allows skin to perform numerous essential functions including protecting against injury and infections, reducing water loss and regulating temperature.

VitroGro ECM is a biomimetic scaffold comprising of a synthetic extracellular matrix protein. When applied, VitroGro® ECM quickly binds to the wound bed replacing the damaged ECM.
