Biotech Animation: Synthetic Viral RNA Testing

Ubihealth is the first synthetic RNA test that operates anywhere.

The sample enters the device where proprietary reagents attack the virus, releasing the viral RNA ready for capture. Quality Control RNA is included in the assay.

RNA is incubated with PNA KeyChain technology, allowing multiple viruses to be targeted simultaneously.

It gives gold standard viral detection, with no need to take a sample to a lab and no direct input from a physician. The user gets critical information in real-time.

HCV Lifecycle

How the hepatitis C virus (HCV) infects the liver

The HCV is usually transmitted through blood-to-blood contact. The virus replicates in the hepatocytes of the liver and circulates throughout the body.

Entry into hepatocytes occurs through the interaction of the viral envelope with receptors on the surface of the host cell. The virus undergoes a fusion and uncoating step, releasing positive-strand viral RNA. HCV utilizes many of the host cell’s proteins and molecules in order to replicate.

COVID-19

We have created this 3D visual of the Coronavirus using the latest research available. For this overall representation surface protein density has been reduced to help show spike, envelope, and membrane proteins.
