Celebrating 15 Years of Fusion

From a spare room in 2010 to central London in 2025 (with a few detours via garden sheds and Zoom rooms), we’ve come a long way.

It’s been a journey - and a lot has changed since Fusion began back in 2010.

We’ve grown from a spare room, to a garden office, to city centre offices, then back to our living rooms during Covid… and now back into central London again. Over the years, the software, techniques, procedures - and yes, the haircuts - have evolved quite a bit too.

Some standout moments include:

  • Creating a 3D visual of the COVID-19 virus to aid researchers in developing treatments. That visual has appeared in research papers, global news articles, and has been downloaded over 50 million times (and counting).
  • Being featured in Nature Neuroscience for Inside Alzheimer’s and Understanding Parkinson’s Disease.

There’s been the odd night out, a few memorable Christmas parties, and more than a few spontaneous pub trips. We've tackled sporting challenges from shuffleboard and darts to what may be an excessive amount of mini golf.

None of it would have been possible without our brilliant clients, who trust us to explore new techniques and creative ideas in the pursuit of clarity from complexity. It’s a privilege to help share your cutting-edge science with the world—and one we’ll never take for granted.
