Fusion created a medical animation that used a semi-realistic visual style and macro-to-micro transitions to guide viewers from the familiar — a functioning brain — to the devastating molecular detail of Alzheimer's disease progression.
Rather than leading with biology, we led with the human story. Carefully designed light and colour shifts signalled deterioration without sensationalising, keeping the animation scientifically grounded while remaining emotionally resonant for a non-specialist audience.
